We met on August 4th, 2006 in Reno, Nevada during Hot August Nights. The funny story is that we were supposed to be set up by our friends with other people but as life would have it, we were made for each other. McKenna couldn't resist his good looks and sense of humor and Dave couldn't go another day without looking into her beautiful brown eyes. During that evening, we talked to all the others but kept coming back to each other. We knew that that evening was not the end of this 'thing' that was happening. Something special, something magical occurred. Looking back on it now, it's amazing to realize how that evening's events chartered the rest of our lives.

Our wedding is being held up in Lake Tahoe, California at Sunnysides Restaurant and Resort. It's going to be outdoors on the deck right on the lake. Since the wedding is going on in September, our colors are coordinating with the fall feeling....think brown, deep purple, orange, etc. We have 10 of our closest friends and family as our wedding party. We love them all very much and feel that as the witnesses to this joyous event it is a tribute to the special relationship that we have with each and everyone of them.

The reception is also being held at Sunnysides Resort, so get comfortable, have some drinks, dance, socialize, and have fun!

We are two of the luckiest people in the world because not only did we find each other but we also gained a larger loving family and some more great freinds. We are so excited to have everyone we care about be a part of our wedding as well as the rest of our lives. We feel blessed that you have watched us fall in love and now be married. The future holds so much for us and we realize it. We will share it with you as much as possible. We love you all very much! While we appreciate your presents, it's your presence we love more.
